BULK HAIR LENGTH GUIDE
Each bundle weighs roughly 4 oz
Our Raw Indian Bulk Hair is most commonly used for luxury boho braid styles where Indian Princess Hair is incorporated as the loose flowing hair throughout the style.
Please note:
Indian Princess Hair bulk hair is intended for the loose “leave-out” pieces of boho styles and is not designed to be used as the actual braiding hair itself.
Because our hair is:
- raw
- unprocessed
- extremely soft
- fully cuticle-aligned
using it as the structural braid hair may cause unraveling or excessive manipulation to the strands.
For best results, we recommend pairing our bulk hair with professional braiding hair and using Indian Princess Hair as the luxury loose hair enhancement throughout the style.
Recommended Bundle Amounts
2 bundles for a natural/basic look
3 bundles for fuller volume
20"–22"
24"–26"
28"–32"
34"–36"
Please note that bundle recommendations may vary depending on:
- desired fullness
- braid size
- braid count
- stylist technique
- amount of loose hair left out throughout the style
For extra dramatic fullness or highly customized boho looks, your stylist may recommend additional bundles.
HOW TO WASH & PREP BULK HAIR
1. Keep the Bundle Secure
Keep the original band intact while washing or coloring.
Do not remove the ties or allow loose strands to float freely in water.
2. Detangle Gently
Before washing, gently finger-detangle the hair from ends upward.
If needed, use a wide-tooth comb while working slowly and carefully.
Avoid pulling aggressively on the bundle.
3. Rinse Downward
Hold the bundle securely from the banded area.
Allow lukewarm water to flow downward through the strands.
Do not swirl, bunch, soak loosely, or rub the hair together.
4. Shampoo Carefully
Apply a sulfate-free moisturizing shampoo.
Using smooth downward motions, gently cleanse the hair in one direction.
Do not scrub, twist, or massage the hair like natural scalp hair.
5. Rinse Thoroughly
Rinse with lukewarm water until the water runs clear.
Keep the strands flowing downward and aligned during rinsing.
6. Condition Generously
Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends.
Smooth the conditioner through the hair gently using your fingers.
Allow it to sit for 5–10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
7. Pat Dry
Use a microfiber towel or soft cotton T-shirt to gently squeeze excess water from the hair.
Never rub the hair back and forth.
8. Air Dry Completely
Hang the bundle from the secured band or lay it flat while keeping the strands aligned.
Allow the hair to fully air dry before:
- braiding
- installation
- coloring
- heat styling
BEFORE COLORING YOUR HAIR
We strongly recommend cleansing the hair before applying color.
Washing removes handling residue and creates a cleaner canvas for more even color absorption.
For Best Results:
- Fully air dry the hair before coloring
- Keep bundles secured during the coloring process
- Work in small controlled sections
- Apply color using smooth downward motions
- Avoid circular rubbing or rough manipulation
- Perform a strand test before full application
Raw Indian hair responds beautifully to professional coloring when properly prepared.
DAILY MAINTENANCE & TEXTURE CARE
Wearing your hair in its natural texture is a ritual in softness, movement, and effortless beauty.
Daily Texture Revival
Step 1
Fill a spray bottle with clean water and a small amount of your favorite curl-defining cream.
Shake gently.
Step 2
Lightly mist the hair to awaken texture, softness, and shape.
Step 3
Gently detangle using your fingers or a soft detangling brush.
Always start from the ends and work upward slowly.
Step 4
Scrunch the strands gently to encourage wave or curl definition.
Step 5
Allow the hair to air dry naturally for best results.
Always use a heat protectant to preserve softness, longevity, and luster.
Product Usage Reminder
Avoid heavy oils and excessive serums.
A small amount of product is more than enough.
Overusing product may:
- weigh the hair down
- interrupt natural movement
- cause buildup
- increase tangling
TEXTURE NOTE
Because this hair is raw and completely unprocessed, the texture may slightly expand, deepen, or become fuller after washing.
This is completely normal — and part of the beauty of authentic Indian hair.
The texture is simply awakening into its natural state.

Care Instructions
IMPORTANT BEFORE WASHING OR COLORING
Raw bulk hair must be handled differently than machine weft bundles.
Because the hair is loose and only secured by the top band and protective wrapping, gentle handling is essential during washing, coloring, and prep.
Our unprocessed Indian hair contains fully intact cuticles that naturally flow in the same direction from root to end. This preserved cuticle alignment is what creates the softness, longevity, and luxurious movement authentic raw hair is known for.
To protect the integrity of the hair:
- Keep bundles secured while washing or coloring
- Always handle the hair in a downward direction
- Never scrub, swirl, bunch, or aggressively separate the strands
- Detangle slowly from ends upward
- Avoid excessive tugging or pulling on the bundle
If the hair becomes disorganized or the cuticle direction is disrupted, strands may begin to interlock against one another, which can lead to tangling, matting, or unnecessary shedding.
Proper preparation preserves the beauty, softness, and longevity of the hair.
